Greetings to all you lovely people out there. The time has come yet again for the
Astral Psyentists to quench your psychedelic thirst with another lovely evening
at ROTATION - our home away from home. We've been working hard to ensure a
night you won't forget of some full-on energetic fun.
Starting off our evening will be the master of the downtempo warmup, METATHEMA.
He'll be working the grooves from 5:00-6:15 and getting you all ramped up for an
evening of enlightenment.
After MetaThema, we've got SPARKLE taking over the 6:15-7:30 slot. This Fuschia-
haired bandit is sure to slam your unfortunate leg muscles with some high quality
beats and melodies. The only reason to not be here for this guy's set is you're too
wussy to handle that many phat jams before the "prime" slots.
Coming up next we've got Monsieur RANDOM, who will be gracing our fair stage from
7:30 until 8:45. Random, as we all know, is an amazing artist who brings a style unlike
any we’ve seen. His pounding beats will leave you used and abused - but you can't be
done yet, because that's not all!
Bringing down the roof will be our friend BARRATT. Perhaps you've seen this man
playing on a beach in Goa or destroying the dance floor at Il Pirata on a Wednesday
night, but perhaps not. If you haven't, shame on you! You've definitely been missing
something special. Before he travels across the ocean next month, we'd love to give
you a chance to get pounded by him and say your good-byes. We just hope we won't
have the fire dept. show up wondering why everyone in the crowd is smoking from their
hair down.

7:30 - 8:45 Random (Phoenix Family)
8:45 - 10:00 Barratt (Synchronize)

sorry to entice our friend Barrat away from you guys, but we have lots of business to take care of here in japan, and we will be back soon in SF with the latest program upgrades. See you guys next year on the playa!

Bring a second set of ears, BSM - the sound system there is RIPPING. My ears were ringing for a few hours afterwards.

Well, concerning open air parties, there's the Circles of Sound festival coming up in two weeks.

After that there's not that much planned in the way of outdoor stuff. There's a bunch of club-held parties in and around the city, but nothing that I personally know of in an outdoor setting. |
