Hello all you lovely evolved primates who still hold onto that 'dance around the fire' feelin'. First, the Astral Psyentists want to say that we hope you enjoyed your thanksgiving, and remembered to thank whatever powers that be for all the joyous moments that bring your lives meaning. This week, one of the things we've been thankful for for quite some time will be leaving our lives. As the flame flickers low, it has become apparent that the best thing now for our Thursday's at the Luna Lounge is to put the candle out and close that chapter of the SF psy scene. Sad of a thing as this is, I don't think any person who came out at some point or another doesn't have a beautiful memory to hold with them into the next chapter of our scene's life, and hopefully that memory will not be forgotten.
For now, please, come out and enjoy our last Thursday together at the Luna Lounge. The end of a beautiful thing should happen as a grand celebration, so all may remember what it once was and will be in our hearts.
Coming up first we've got FANBOY warming up the transition. He of course needs no introduction, but if you are one of those who haven't had the pleasure of riding the beats he creates, there's no better time than now. Expect an explosive wave of enjoyment that will only bring you one step closer to that all encompasing nirvana you seek.
Second, we welcome back the talents of SANYAMA. His style alone is uncomparible, but you all probably know that already. At least once, close your eyes for a moment and let him take you away to a place you only thought possible in your imagination, only to come back realizing that place is still with you.
Finally, who better to help the end of a life, than someone celebrating the beginning of their own? We've got a special birthday set coming from our lovable SPARKLE. Don't let the hair distract you, the real magic is coming from his mind and his fingers as he spins you right round, baby, right round.
We can guarantee you'll walk away at the end of this one truly basked in the light that the Luna Lounge has given us over the last couple years, as it will be unavoidable for miles around us.

This is a sad day. I had a lot of fun at Luna Lounge. You guy's had some great party's there. I wish you all the best in your next adventures. |

This is a sad day indeed for the SF community. The Luna has spawned many a great time and memory for alot of us.
It will truly be missed, however such is the nature of things, that everything has its time, and when that time passes better to let it go, than to continually beat the proverbial dead horse.
Thankfully we still have Synchronize, which i must add, has been blowing the doors off the Il Pirata every wednesday as of late. |

I would like to thank all the beautiful, happy trancers that showed up last night to rawk out the Luna Lounge for ROTATION's last event! We sure gave the ol' girl a great sendoff!!
Kudos to Sanyama and Sparkle for bangin' the dancefloor to smithereens, and all the lucky dancers whose feet will hopefully be sore for a few more days after that relentless pumelling!
The evening was recorded, but there is an issue with my recording device and transferring the MP3 to a secondary machine. This means I will have to re-record the event from my jukebox to my home puter and run it through my mixing software to get it to read properly.
Suffice it to say, the recording WILL be available online for people to enjoy - it just may be another week or so before that happens. I apologize for any inconvenience.
Thanks again for giving ROTATION a wonderful end, and we'll see you all at the next party in, around and beyond the San Francisco Bay Area!

I have and allways will have a special place in my heart for the Luna Lounge. I mean shit, I met my wife there! Thank you to the GOAPlay crew for starting this party and the Rotation crews for keeping it going for so long. You guys all mean so much to me!

Last night was a great send off, it was hard to leave when the lights came on,
Almost needed a tissue. The luna lounge has created some great times and memories for all of us in the past.
I hope maybe a few months down the road we can do a "one off" Luna Lounge all stars night |
