Greetings and Namaste <3
We're heading to Detroit in early June via bicycles to occupy abandoned buildings and use skills and ideas developed in SF to build a self-sustainable, environmentally sound, non-hierarchical, anarcho-communist community. Out of the ashes of post-apocalyptic Detroit, the phoenix will arise. While traveling we will be listening to the wisdom and stories of the people we meet and sharing our highest ideals and hopes while introducing people to the power of active meditation through dance and the sound of psytrance. It was just four years ago that John Wood introduced us to the magic of psytrance and this community of love. So many of you have guided and helped us with our own healing and growth, and we promise to pay it forward. Advice gladly taken, help/equipment appreciated, fellow travelers welcome, friendships will be kept, jokes will be laughed at, love will be returned!

My (Marshall's) mom is flying up to SF for the memorial Hoedown, I'm
excited to introduce her to everyone. I had spent 6 months with her in
Tallahassee, FL last year, I told everyone that would listen about the
healing power of our psytrance dance rituals. My excitement and energy
helped to form a core group there and they have been having small
outdoor trance dance parties complete with "xlr8r" fires and
sweat-lodges in conjunction with Yogi Garuda Das and his Bliss farm
and Peace on Earth center. Last week my friend Bryan (Speyeral Shiva)
opened up for Shpongle, in Tallahassee, their only Florida show,
introducing a larger portion of the community to the sounds of psy.
