Iz there away to set up a reverb on fx send from a synth that is Straped with a crunchy arp, That lets the reverb kick-in at certain points Dynamicly Instead of autiomating the reverb at certain points.

EG.. Noise gate? Compression/Expd? Sidechain?

How would i go about setting that up, im trying now with sidechain but not good getting Results..

An example would be LLLLLEEEAAAADD.REVERB.LLLLEEE.REVERB.AAADD

HOPE THAT HELPS HEHE CHEERS

"at certain points dynamicly" instead of automating...
Having trouble seeing that. When exactly do you want the reverb to kick in?

Automate the wet of the reverb in a short clip, make it work like a gate or sc to something and duplicate?           http://www.soundcloud.com/bandarlog

dynamically?
if you mean that the dynamics of the sounds will control the reverb then you have to put a gate before the reverb. you need to a use a reverb as a send effect, and insert a gate before the reverb.
if i understand correctly what you want to do then there is no way other then automating the send amount to the reverb.

to create this effect "LLLLLEEEAAAADD.REVERB.LLLLEEE.REVERB.AAADD
", you ether need a mind reading vst , or you do it manually using automation.
personally i think that automation is the easiest way to do it, any other way will be more time consuming to set it up right.
one more thing you can do is put reverb on fx channel and a gate before the reverb, and setup up the gate in sidechain mode, then take some instrument set it up to produce sine wave and route it to the gates sidechain so every time u play a note on that instrument the gate will open and let the lead through to the reaverb. but thats just a complicated way to achieve the same result as using automation.

I think he means something like a reverb and a trigger gate or maybe sidechained to duck when another element kicks in.           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:
