Setting Up 2 Channels In Traktor?

What do I need to get a working 2-channel, proper setup? I'm guessing a 2-channel USB soundcard and a mixer? Can I use the virtual mixer with the 2-channel USB card and hear both channels (so I can fucking beatmatch finally)? or am I going to need to go external and set it up with a mixer running into it? |

u really think u need an external mixer for beatmatching in traktor?....
with a 2 channel soundcard you can select the drivers for left and right channel in set-up. |

u can beatmatch out of the box with traktor no need for external mixer or 2 different stereo outs for each deck (although this is the way to go for serious djing) u just need 1 stereo out for the 2 decks and 1 more out for headfones so u can cue and preview ur mixes.

What you need to make sure of is u set the right outputs in the outs window, then also (and i mean it!) make sure the cue mix knob is turned to CUE only! in order to hear only the track sent to cue. meaning the one that goes in your monitor(headphone) not main out. gimme a pm if u don't get it, i will try to explain it to you. I have some experience in educating people with exactly the problem with traktor
