There are a few out there. Friends say the Beatstep Pro is buggy & Arturia, as they do, are not offering any fixes.

I'm keen on this one from Kilpatrick but was wondering what others use?

I'm quite interested in this:

http://www.socialentropy.com/engine/

MIDI, DINsync and CV/gate, x0x style sequencing, 8 polyphonic tracks, edit on the fly. Out of stock apparently. A bit more expensive than the Beatstep Pro @ $665US.

Probably getting ahold of one once I can afford it.

Carbon looks interesting too.           .

Hadn't see. The social entropy. I love a good x0x sequencer. Will buy that first for sure.           Cuntus Maximus.

Is it just for MIDI?

if so .. might wanna take a look at the Old MPC's

appart from the sampling side... they were the best of the time
and cheep as chips...

Even tho there old.. they still have LOADS of support and new parts kicking around.. very easy to get replacement drives with SD card... new screens and so on           Â°Â°Â°ACTS 4:12°°°°

Am going to wait for review of the Kilpatrick Carbon.

I almost got a Pyramid sequencer but when I saw a friends I was extremely disappointed with the build quality. The screen is rubbish. Like a piece of plastic with a gap. Could so see it getting damaged quickly in a performance setting.

Kilpatrick is all dependent on the build quality. If the reviews are good then it looks perfect for my interests in techno & tech house. I doubt it would be much good for psy but then again I don't think many external sequencers are.           Cuntus Maximus.

if you're looking for an iOS sequencer, this one looks quite promising. Yet to try it out though.

Squarp Pyramid wins, destroys all competition in terms of functionality. I thought the build was quite okay tbh, similar to the native instruments stuff.

Yes anyway after exploring a few options I'm gonna stay in my eurorack & get the Metropolis. It's perfect for techno which is what I currently enjoy making.           Cuntus Maximus.
