~ Celebrating the Forests ~
Earthdance is dedicated to growing an international network of event producers and communities that have worked since 1997 to connect globally and act locally, implementing real solutions for peace, sustainability, and social justice. We of the Northwest region are proud to be a part of this global movement and are acting to benefit a local non-profit 501c3 by hosting a tribal convergence! This year we have chosen the Tryon Life Community Farm (TLC Farm) in support of their Land Acquisition act for “The Mother Earth School,” a Waldorf Educational center that is open on the Tryon Life Community Farm land. Earthdance Northwest’s success will keep land developers from building high-end homes on forest-land and decimating the forest by empowering TLC Farm to purchase that land in need for the school; they need to raise around $800,000. What better way to do it then by dancing to our goal, in union! Join us as we make progress in saving the forests.

TICKET / CARPOOLING INFORMATION:
Due to the high numbers of interest to the festival we are highly encouraging carpooling. Cars hosting under three (3) persons will be subject to a $10 fee per vehicle. Thank you for understanding.

CAMPING INFORMATION:
Be prepared to camp at this event. Bring warm layers and good shoes are highly recommended for the night and sandals/flip-flops for kickin' in the day. Other helpful items in your journeys will be: tent, blankets, jackets, headlamps, hoodies, bi-layers, cup, spoon, bowl, water, lip balm/sunblock, sunglasses, visors, shawls, sun hats, and warm thoughts. Late September may be cool, and this Earthdance is in the Coastal Mountains. So keep this in mind when packing. Car camping (with your tent) is not allowed. The camping area will not be far from the camping area, and you will be advised accordingly.
FIRE: There are to be no open fires to be allowed on the premises. We may have a centralized dance fire somewhere in an about, but with the timing of our event, the ground may be fairly dry. We will do our best to accommodate everyone as necessary.
