HD25 :: Got them for many years ago, still love them like it was my baby.
Only thing that buggz me at times is when used over a longer period (hours) they can hurt your ears some. Not the internal ear since the sound is perfect orgasmic, but the tightnes of them on the actual ear.

That is exactly the downfall of Sennheiser HD 25, they are very tight in your head make your ears hurt

What do you think of them? I have read many reviews, but I wanted to hear from producers making trance music what they thought of these headphones.
I was thinking about buying them (as headphones for making music, as well as DJing). Any feedback would be much appreciated

Hey buddy this are great headphones for djing they have very tight and sharp sound, but the bad part is that they make your ear lobules hurt after a long time of using them since they are small, for producing I would recommend for sure Beyerdynamic and for djing ultrazone since they are big and don't make your ear lobules hurt

the hd-25 always seem break at the point where you connect the cable to the headphone.
nothing dramatic - you can fix it yourself but its annoying if it happens on stage...
the sound is ok, they have boosted bass-frequencies. and as far as i know they are the loudest things you can buy.
i dont like like them that much because they kinda crunch my fat head but i always use them because they are that loud and i havent found any better yet...
paid 150€ in germany...

the HD-25 do really hurt on the ears after a while like it has been already said ,since they are pretty small. I would prefer the ultrasone as well, they sound very well balanced with a great stereo field and clean not resonating bass.
pretty expensive sadly..
i own the bayerdynamic DT990 pro, but am not using them often, they got a lot of hiss and the bass is far from solid imo.
soundwise the HD-25 are great too..
