Just wondering what people who play as live acts do when they send out demos to party promoters?
Do you put a few of your tracks on a cd or do you hand out a complete 1 hour recording of one of your sets? Or do you go for something in between like say a 20minute recording from one of your live sets? |

I send a copy of my released CD trax, I also send a 15 minute preview w/fade in/outs of my live set so they can hear the difference between what my CD trax sound like and what I sound like playing live (since it isn't spacebar live)
I also include my current Label DJ demo in case they want Live and DJ.

weird, that's exactly what got me to play. 1 hour of unreleased tracks (I hardly have a release so released tracks won't get me far lol)
ps: I think it's comforting to know that festival organisers in the psytrance scene actually listen to the music, regardless of who you are, what you have released or who you're fucking Big up for that!
