Hi i use fl

I have to ask you something. When i send kick + bass to send channel 1 (or other sounds) my cutoff automation on kick and bass doesn't work. Or it works, but if i cut the sound to 0db i can still hear it in the mix.

Does any one of you know how to get pass that problem?           https://soundcloud.com/peter-fh

highlight the channels where your kick and bass sits, and then for each channel click on the lit play button of the master fader and un-light it, relatively close to the bottom of it. that way your signal will only go to the send and from the send to the master...           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

Okay now that works thank you.

But now i got a new problem.

Kick and bass is send to send channel 1 i have compressed that, and now I want to insert a fast lp and then cut the kick and bass.

But it do not work for me. Is it possible to cutoff both from the send channel or must I do one at the time?           https://soundcloud.com/peter-fh

you can select both tracks and then group them. then solo a piece of hit, bounce it down, the part you're planning to filter on tops, then introduce it on an audio channel, place your filter, and tweak away, record to audio again, check the levels, etc... gives you more control and less of an headache, as this things can and probably will change the volume and probably going to need some in loco EQ as well, maybe other fx...

CMD or Ctrl+G groups channels in Ableton, other Daws, like Logic, it's down to the routing, instead of Stereo Output/master, you can choose some aux channel to route the desired signals there, and apply fx and extra processing on the group, but doing this in audio is what I like best tbh. cheers

U can do it in the send, throw an eq after the compressor, dunno if u use cubase, but on the send channel there's a + sign (i think its + sign), press it and volume will appear, clic on volume and go to inserts and find the eq u setup, automate the band u want.           Tudo que é melhor e mais superior em mim saúda tudo que é melhor e mais alto em si

Why group them at all? Or send them anywhere? I have never needed that and sounds ok here...
