If you got iTunes as your mediaplayer, then there is a very nice "drone" station. in the radio folder under electronic/chill.

Dat Politics can sometimes be a bit too much for me (at other times it's genius). I don't think psytrance is in the same category of sheer mind-fuck as these guys (or as Venetian Snares for that matter).

I'd point you towards the Japanese genious Merzbow if you havent already been there acidhive
Regarding the thread though, one of the heaviest cd's i'v heard was Va Schlabbaduerst03. ridiculously good shit!!
Also Raphael datakult seems to have a mean streak in him...his older droidsect project showed no mercy either. Jarring industrial psytrance.....mmmmmmmm more of this please |

Hehehe, yeah... been there Merlot. It was a hard trip, but I survived  Anyway, regarding psytrance I think some Doof compilations fit the bill as well.

Dark music is cool...!
but...
sometimes it gets too dark, and too weird....
I think a lot of producers forget that people will actually be trying to dance to their "music".... at something which is called a "party"...
Ive heard djs play sets that are so scary, and with such bad (homemade) music, that ive actually felt physically sick, and had to run from the dancefloor...
In the end i think its just a COMPETITION..
who can make the weiiiirdest track...
the one that has NO FORMULA!!
the one thats NOT COMMERCIAL!!
