Well i agree that its not ok to make fun of ANY religion..but you can't compare this to the danish cartoon controversy..there they were making fun of the holy prophet Muhammad, who is considered by muslims to be their ideal..which is why so many people got offended..
i feel this one is done in good humour..its just a dumb video with a corny song which is what makes it funny to me..

Great video, i wanna see him perform in the next party i go to..
as for making fun of religion- maybe if people keep on doing it then it won't be such a serious thing anymore, even when they made the jokes about muhamad, so what??, they shouldn't think that non-muslim people would care about him. If it will become a world wide joke theme (muhamad) then the fanatics will understand they can't fight it and they can't boycott all the products in the world...
i am jewish, and i love my religion, but if someone would make a moses cartoon i wouldn't care, cuz its a JOKE, that's what fanatic religious people can't seem to understand...

See and thats exactly just your opinion.... Even in Greece there was forbidden a harmles Jesus cartoon,don't get me wrong I'm also for freedom of speech for everyone,everytime....but I think people who think about that with our intelligence have to be careful with this religion because right now it's very sensible...and everyone who acts like an elephant in the porcelain shop could destroy easily the progress that this culture is on it's way to make....
But that's only the opinion of an totally insane bastard who really cares bout the feelings of other people...

I also care about other people feelings man, but when we talk about progress then i think that religion does just the opposite..
If religious people will stay inside themselves disconnected from the world they will be offended much more easyly, if we can understand them and be sensitive about them then i think they should act the same toward us, but they don't seem to do that. the best example for that is the president of Iran who is calling for the destruction of israel in the past few weeks/months, all in the name of muslim religion. people should wake up and open their eyes, if not that then just get a different perspective of things, and i think humor does that.

I think basicly your absolutely right,but if it would be that easy,than there wouldn't be war...so you're right,and I think I'm also right in a different way,but the "truth" lies in between,like we say "the golden middle"
And last but not least,you gave the example Iran...
I won't answer it anyway because  and if I would this thread would definately go political
All I say is,I don't think it's a good example because of different reasons...

It's not about who's right, but about who's wrong, and people who don't respect other people because of their attitude to religion are the one's who are wrong.
obviously non of the people in this forum is one of those people.
