Sector-7G are Alex Becker and Scott McDonald (a.k.a goagirls; a.k.a. Sausage & Dickweed). Scott and Becker met in 1998 at the Blue Room parties at Custer Sound Studios in San Francisco, California. Their friendship solidified while living at the infamous 1190 Fulton St. house on Alamo Square – birthplace to the Thump Radio collective and the location of legendary exploits by the titans of the global trance scene. Sector-7G began making music at this time to honor and represent the sounds of the San Francisco underground. Their music has been hailed as “Not total shit” by Nikita Tselovalnikov (Penta) – and promises to be the closest thing to punk rock in the trance genre.
They are currently signed on Auraquake Records.

Scott and Becker are two incredibly crazy, fun guys. Always a joy to hang out with. I still remember them bringing their desktops to play live sets everywhere.

I'm really glad they got their first releases, and who better than Auraquake to do it. Big ups to SF power!           An Eagle may soar, but Weasels don't get sucked into jet engines.

I caught their set at Soulstice at Angel's Camp some years ago and they were the best thing I'd seen the whole weekend. Fun guys and psychedelic music that rocked. Wish they played out more often.

I wonder if the project's name has something to do with Sector 7G from The Simpsons heh.. Just wanted some simpsons episodes, and thought it might be the idea they based the projects name on heh =)          Peace & Love!

Sausage & Dickweed has got to be the funniest artist name ever.

Hi Guys,
Sektor 7G has been basically silent for a year and a half. But if you are anticipating releases from them, I might kick their asses and make them write music again. The only problem the guys live on the opposite coasts now...           Penta Website - http://www.pentafiles.com
