I thought this was a total joke.
That is, until dawn this morning...
I myself witnessed a possibly posessed deaf child suddenly rise and raise his slurred voice, apparently acting as the spokesman for the would-be killer!!
Not only did he elabarate upon the already shocking threats ("You're gods; I'm kicking your asses!"); he also demanded control and made wild suggestions like, "young people would listen to fast music."!!
The Society was understandably shaken, weakened, and intimidated --and drunk-- and they appeared to relent, preserving their lives for today, at least.
It was pure saving grace that Secret Society was already booked to PLAY LIVE BEFORE PSYKOVSKY(!!) this Saturday night. Even the demon deaf child couldn't contain his glee at the thought of hearing the Portland debut of the songs from Explosive Diorama on Funktion1!!! |

I found him!!!
I been looking into this for my homies SS and I got a tip from an international unnamed sorce and after a long night of searching I found out that this same thing happened a while back in Brazil and a producer there did not take the treat seriously and this shot was captured during his kidnapping:

seeing our possible weapon of murder has caused me much despair, and due to this, secret society may not be playing any 4th of July parties or New Years, there are just too many party poppers to keep our eyes on at such events. if you need to book us on these days, please strongly enforce a 'no party popper' policy, otherwise, i just don't see how we could play, due to all the ins and outs and the new sh^t that has come to light.
AND...
here i was imagining the kidnapper as some undercover raver-type. seeing that picture and realizing the possibility of THAT guy being our would-be killer, broadens my perspectives a little too much. its going to be hard to walk around without constantly wondering nervously, 'is that the one(?)', knowing it really could be ANYONE.

Just saw these guys again at the Psykovsky party in Oregon and they rocked it beyond all expectations. The rest of the world is sorely missing out if you haven't experienced the secret sauce of this society.

Atrium Obscurum of Texas is doing our part to stave off the kidnapping and ultimate execution of the Secret Society boys by having them come out and rock the east Texas forest come the weekend of July 9-11th. Please promoters do your part to push back the time of their demise by at least a few more months
