I'm actually not looking for bookings right now and I really wish you'd all just stop sweating me for new material. I killed it in my bedroom the other day and I just don't know how I could ever live up to such a wicked throwdown. I mean, my cat literally puked from the bass.

blah blah blah I thought it was hilarious...totally hilarious. This is absolutely there style of humor...if you don't get it, that's ok, or not because of course you are gonna come in and discredit them over a funny stab at self promotion... At least it's POSITIVE promotion, something that you, Paradigm have yet to do for yourself..i mean through observations i've asked myself "Is this guy for real? Does he have anything good to say ever about anything that doesn't have to do with himself?" I chose to not even figure it out because in the big scheme of things IT DOESN'T MATTER.

yeah, i'm gonna have to go ahead and call shenanigans on you.
These kids are, easily, the best liveact going in the usa. Their music is pushing the bleeding edge of what is possible in psychedelia while keeping A SENSE OF HUMOR the entire time.
they can promote themselves any damn way they like.

yeah what the hell is wrong with having personality. A sence of humor, and not being this pompous serious ass who is better then everyone else just because he got some tunes.
PFFT!!! The relationship is directly proportional most of the times, fun people=fun music.
Rather have some silly space aliens who are going to pinch people and pull girls' hair rather then some gaunt musical hero. I know these guys, they will throw a grape at you. So what, good.

Honestly, I wouldn't take a booking offer from this particular crew (Eleven & co.) for the simple fact that the style of music that consists of my live act would cause the promoter to talk shit on her Facebook page, etc. And you, Paradigm, would defend her for it, like you guys did towards that one guy you booked a few months ago.
I mean, seriously? Who books a guy, puts him in a lineup, and then bitches on Facebook later because he played darkpsy at 4 AM?
But whatever.
Secret Society's music touches me in my bathing suit area. Book them to share that special tingly feeling only they can provide.

then again, death threats usually do illicit some kind of response.
paradigm, man, you are totally right. instead of using a public forum to so blatantly self promote, we should be spending the time to get to know our local promoters a little better, chatting with them on skype, sending them tracks and demos, karma and hug requests on facebook, and virtual handjobs in their gmail inbox. after all, what is an artist but a person that spends a little time making art and the rest of their time putting stamps on things and uploading things and generally supporting the postal system?
secret society would like to apologize to any promoter in the country who thought to book us solely in hopes of saving us from imminent murder, this was really not fair of us. we would like to request that any promoter that books us, does so for the music or for their own reasons, but NOT to save us from kidnapping, torture, loss of limb, and painful death. after all, how would we really feel knowing that all those were just sympathy gigs?
thanks to those who said nice things about us, if you really meant it and weren't just trying to soften the malevolence of our killer. I do, though, think it is in bad taste for you to have said these nice things in such a public forum, practically condoning our means of self-promotion by adding to our total comments. maybe in the future, y'all could write your comments down on paper, stick them in an envelope and put a stamp on them, then send them to me and all the promoters in the country, then it would really mean something and would feel like we EARNED it
oh and that ransom note.... i know i left it around here somewhe...... maybe under this cou..... no.... could be in my jacket or pants that i was wearing last nigh..... NO...... oh sweet there it i.. CRAP thats just a bill..... well i'm sure i can dig it up somewhere, when i do, this will be the first place it gets posted
i don't know what all of ours is online, but here is most of funky town on youtube....
and ya we aren't gonna give you clips of our album tunes, cuz they kick major ass and we are gonna try really hard to make at least 27 people buy it before it hits the internet full-swing!
