Hey all you psychedelic trance enthusiasts! Once again, major thanks for all of your support and energy at this past month's show! It looks like the vibe we created at the S>Range show is carrying over quite nicely. Thanks go out to our v4.6 guests Nikon and Cyrus for delivering hard hitting tracks throughout the night. As always, thanks to Viberation Graphics for projections and to Psybertribe and Seekr for the decor. Bonus thanks to Leon, Barrett, and Arwin for some last minute sound system arrangements. And who can forget Teri behind the bar. I would have to say the drinks were a little stronger than usual this last month, wouldn't you agree? So, people have asked about another special night at Secret Psychedelica. Well, we've narrowed it down to which month and we have chosen October. Look for more information to come in the few weeks or ask us in person at this month's show. Until then...shhh...it's a secret!
This month, on July 26th, Silicon Valley's only psychedelic trance night continues on its fourth year to lay the foundation for the future of trance. Version 4.7 guests are Majere, the mastermind behind Elektrosorcery and local DJ Samson Ng. Yes, yes, it's true, Majere typically plays melodic trance but for one night only, he'll be playing an exclusive psychedelic trance set. So, for all of you Majere fans, this is a chance for you to hear him get creative. Aside from DJing, Majere also runs the Dungeon, a nice San Francisco venue that has seen a good amount parties since it opened. You can catch Majere's own parties, the Zodiac series, once a month there as well. Check out http://www.elektrosorcery.com for more information. Samson Ng is a relatively new DJ to the psychedelic trance scene. His history behind the decks has taken him through progressive trance and NRG and has landed him into the current full-on sound of psychedelic trance. Secret Psychedelica resident DJs this month are Michael Liu and Aeon. Secret Psychedelica's soundsystem is powered by Hardscience. Visuals by Viberation Graphics. Special decor provided by Psybertribe and Muf! Muf! is a new visual incarnation of Seekr. Savoy's infamous Power Hour goes from 10pm to 11pm! That's $1 draft beers!
