gabba hardcore was a very fresh music genre with lots of ideas for the time being.
just check the first 2 minutes of the following (released in '94)
the really funny stuff is when i listen to the same techniques, leads or effects in 2008-9 being presented as breakthroughs

Sir, are you suggesting that gabba has credible musical merit?
That track just added further cement to my already great-wall-of-china hatred of the genre.
True story - I was in an MRI machine last week and they sound exactly like gabba! Loud distorted rhythmic knocking noises... Perhaps a tenuous proof that people with mental disabilities got the idea for gabba while getting their head examined.

..just keep it on your headphones. Gabba scares the hell outta me - it reminds me of being in a huge nuclear magnetic bubble that took slices of my brain.
