Second hand Monitors??

is there any way to know what a monitor has been through? i mean if i want to buy a second hand monitor how do i know the monitor isnt damaged or been repaired (replaced mimbrenut and such)?
is there a place where i can check this kind of stuff,how much would it cost and how long does it take? and if there is any other way to know i am not buying a cat in a sack...

usually people wont recomend u buying from someone u dont know or trust...
u know probably which r the people u wont buy a used car from them...
and even i dont think there is somones who will be reliable to check this
maybe rafi housman or whats this dude name is...
its in ramat gan, check the yellow pages for his number |

yhaa i know, every one who wants to sale his monitor will immediately say his monitor is in perfect condition almost havent been used, never did any problem and never got even a little bump...
all in all perfect condition and i will even be smarter to buy it second hand then from the store...
yhaa thats why i want to know if there's a way to know all those things for sure... 
anyway what is this rafi housman thing? is it a store in ramat gan?

he is kind of lab+sales (of krk monitors) and maybe more
check him also for used/from display..
and maybe u can also check centronix for tannoy reveal "from display"
instead of trusing israelian sound engineers
