Hey People.
Im not that professional at producing and still learning everyday but ive been messing around with fruity loops for 2 years now and i allways had bad circumstances for producing and learning.
I always had some problems like corrupted drivers, crashing programs, no sound or problems with my in-/outputs.
So can you tell me, whats the most important point about a cheap but proper PC with focus on producing Music?
I got an about 3 year old gamer pc with an destroyed cpu (Am 2 ) and 1 gb ram(ddr3 for sure). The Harddrive is 250 gb i guess but i also got one extern harddrive with 1 tb.

Thats what i got...so I need Ram, Cpu and Soundcard. My Goal is to get everything together(only the Computer, No monitor etc) for 150-200 € (195-260 us dollar)

Can you help me ? I would highly appreciate that
Love & PEace

for only 200 euro for the whole packet is better to look in second hand stuff.

I have the focursite Scarlett 18i8 and i am really happy with it. everything works perfect on my system with the drivers and all that stuff.

So i can recommend you to look something from scarlet with less in/out for lower price but in 2nd hand and with the rest money to buy cpu and ram and you will be ok to work for some time.

take the best cpu that you can find and at least 4gb ram.

Some tweaks in windows for best performance and smart work on your daw (freeze, bounce to audio, send fx etc) you will keep your system in good levels.          ...into the wild....

i have the same as above...they are quite cheap for the power. but only if u need that much ins. like if u use synths or record many stuffs with mic at the same time..... otherwise u could get the smaller version from the Scarlett 18i8 that are even cheaper. quite sure its possible to get a brand new with 200 euro.

i also have the Traktor Audio Dj 2 but i only use that one when im mixin tracks with ableton in parties... coz it sux to keep removin ur main soundcard from the studio. and they are realy cheap and works fine for parties.

okay nice , many thinks for those answers ! i will definetely check out that scarlet stuff ! sounds like it fits my needs better than an usb soundcard.
anyways i changed my goals and am just trying to modulate my gaming pc so i got all the money for the soundcard i neither got a synthecizer nor am i using any microphones...just one midi keyboard
