search function not working properly

last few times i've tried to search for a thread in the ambient & chillout forum that i KNOW for a fact exist, the search engine is not delivering the results. i go to google and search the same term + "isratrance" and i find it.
if we're gonna be told to UTFS, it damn well better work

I am looking for a thread using the search engine, but it is so troubling I just can't find it. I don't understand why the search is limited to "last 7 days or 30 days or old topics". The one I am looking for is older than 30 days but more recent than 2008. I mean any topic between 30 days and 3 years ago just does not appear in the search engine.
BTW, I am looking for the most recent topic on tech-trance. Hope you can fix the SE and help me.
