i have really been digging a lot ov thee stuff they have been putting out on automatic records lately, a bit more on thee clubby side but still with enough psychedelic elements to keep you interested and moving. i have especially been into thee stuff tim healy has been doing as 'electric tease' (as well as this 12" white label he did under thee name 'an angel dainty'). for some audio, go to their website http://www.automaticrecords.co.uk/ and go to thee 'tunes' page...

Here are the names of some recent stuff they released and are probably playing out.

Tribodelic (Transient)
Yebo (Automatic)
Soft Focus (Automatic)
Buzzing (Automatic...may not be out yet)

It is more housey/clubby than their older sound, but it is damn good.  They might also be playing some material by another recent side project of theirs, Updata...only track I know of is called "Creeper".

I also wanted to recommend:
Day and Night Compilation
it's compiled by Mark Alen {Half of Quirk}
And Greg Lunar and it represents the new directions in Trance, more relaxed, less intense, more groovy. It has some good moments. Electric Tease - TV is the nu god, which is absolutely brilliant track.

Check also Hopefiend (Mark Allen) & Electric Tease (Tim Heally).
Good music, shame it's totally indoor music. I wish they go back to some crazy outdoor sounds.

this is NOT the quirk i know making music these days... what happened to the madness? i've really tried to like the club/progressive stuff but it just isn't my bag, baby...

although i suppose that if i ever go through a heavy coke phase i'll need music with less sharp edges ;)
