Hey guys,
My names Sean and heres a peak preview of a new sound bank ive created for sylenth. It consists of 128 patches for Tech/Uplifting Trance styles but could be used for anything really!!
Been producing for about 8 years now and have roughly 20+ releases and remixes out but nothing thats really gave me any hope of making a name for myself so decided to do a bit of sound design as always felt the stuff I created sounded cool.
I know theres loads of banks there already but but gotten great feedback on this so far so maybe upcoming producers on here might like it. It will be released in the coming weeks with a price of around €25 to €30 which I think is fair considering shit everything has come. Especially here in Ireland!!

Nobody is going to buy it for 20 or more. Just sell it for a few bucks and you might actually sell a few of them.

20/30 euros is like a minimal standard price. it's just 15 cents per preset.
the work and hours spent programming worth that.. and more, but these days..
selling it cheaper, increases the chance of more buys and is less tempting to piracy.

haha would ya believe it ive managed to stay clear of the dole. Think im the only one in my family never to of been on it:)!! Ive been working in cork airport the last 7 and a half years and hope to fuck I can get out of their this year. Awful place to work and for crap money:(

Ah come on Refx are charging like 45 - 55 for nexus sound banks and I think there absolute shite!! Alot of others then prices are around the 34 - 40 mark. Theres other cheap packs for 15 and the sounds are so bad its not even funny. I like to think ive put something out there that right may not be the best but its far from the worst. Ive given the pack to people already and feedback has been really good.
Ok so you said 20. What if I were to sell for maybe €20 for like the first month or 2?? Think that be better??

Sorry , Never heard of those records companys .
I have listen to all your tracks , Theres nice ideas here and there inside but not more . You should work hard on your eq , On your mix , Use more power (As compressors , Effects and machines) , Your sounds are thin , Dry and naked So need to color it alot .

Ya but i can guarantee yu 300 of them will be stuff weve heard a 100 times. I have about 40 - 50 sylenth banks and for the most part alot of these have the same usuall patches. Only people like soundorder and ummet ozcan really have stuff that differs from everyone else. Also adam van baker are class. I tried to go on quality over quantitee but again i aint the number 1 sound designer!!

No not selling the sample sure thats only for people to listen to get an idea of whats on it. I made 128 patches for sylenth which i plan on selling. Seems most guys on here are into psytrance so may not appeal to to many producers on here but the feedback ive gotten so far has been unreal.
Ya i know man it pains me everytime i finish a track know myself it sounds so damn thin. My mix is terrible and i always say it. Very annoying. Told myself to really try change this for 2012 as kinda gave up producing in 2011. Just can never get my head around compression also!!
The labels arent armada or anything huge by any standard but my tracks have gained some small support from the likes of markus schulz, sean tyas, paul van dyk etc. .
Still tho i just get on with it without bullshitting people that im anything special!! Just a peniless paddy from the bottom of ireland!!
