i only get this error on my macintosh, running Ie5.0 for macos 9, when i return to the forum index i get the error "scroller has already been created", then the text that should be in the scroller appears misplaced over the "general discussion" subfora, so i can' t acces them unless i reload the page completely ...
maybe this has been reported before, if it has, sorry, if it hasn't ... have a look

never seen this and no idea
seems it's something local
sorry, i don't know what to suggest beside not to use caching (probably)
no idea dude;)
scroller is dhtml ,may be time to upgrade browser?:)
5.0 is kinda old dude, get 5.1 at least;)
anyone here has ie5.0?

macos x users would never have this problem, they have higher versions of internet explorer, and it's most likely browser related indeed.
i just thought i'd mention it, i can work around it pretty easely

try "advanced" under "tools"->"internet options"
and uncheck "display a notification about every script error"
i never have it checked, it's enough other javascript monsters around and u? 
lemme know
and about Jaguar i don't argue
people around me are working with that monster and
i personally never could come close to 1 button mouse, but I like MAC's color gamma and the plastic design- it's sexy;)

the menu structure is completely different, the java machine on this os9 is most likely outdated
