Ok, so first thing's first, Michael Cera is god awful, in this movie as much as his any other he plays exactly the same character and it's really beyond nauseating. Many, MANY people didn't pay to see this movie just because of a lack of a charismatic and reliable lead actor and the movie flunked big time in box office but is it that bad? Well, Cera is really bad and he totally took an awesome movie a few notches down with his awkwardly annoying mug but otherwise the movie rocks. It really takes the borders between comic books, video games and movies and completely redraws them. The amount of classic movie paradigms that are being shattered here are mind numbing. It is simply the oddest movie you'll see this year unless Lars Von Trier releases some stupid shit. The film is deemed to cult status, as much as the Rocky Horror Show etc.. due to it's pure nonsense at time and pure fun and middle fingering the Hollywood. I don't know who paid for this movie to be done but he surely was high on something.

Just watched this one. Great movie... and a spot on review Pavel.
Watched Kick Ass a little while before so it didn't come across as totally unique but it's probably the best of it's kind in recent years.

Decent movie thats fun but not that special. Seems a little overrated. Ramona is a hottie though. 7/10 from me.
