Indigitous outdoor party.

www.indigitous.net

We've had some nice spells of weather in Edinburgh recently so its probably time to move the tunes outside!

Our party is planned for the weekend of the 12th June (under 2 weeks)and running through till Monday morning for those with stamina.

More specific details of the party will be posted closer to the time on the Indigitous website in the forums section.

The location will almost certainly be a combination of woodland and beach so should appeal to everyone. There will be two sound systems - 1 15k (Psy rig) and 1 6k(experimental electro and breakbeats)and the Decor by decoractive!

See you there.

Any chance of posting the details here or provinding a link?

Looking forward to this one....

To Goafreak,

exact directions to the rave will be put on the 'Outdoor Party' section in the Indigitous Forum 2 days prior to the party! Believe me when I say that this party will be one to remeber (or not remember!).

If anyone is looking for a ride -- I will be hiring a car in Glasgow this weekend to drive out to whereever in the godforsaken Scottish countryside Disco Stu is taking us. Looking for company and petrol/care hire contribution. PM me or send email to mechanic at cm4cp d0t org.

Disco Stu, any chance of getting a wee set at the party? I spin progressive to dark/minimal psychedelic.. if you have the CDJ's, I have the tunes

Looking forward to seeing everyone there...

So I called the party line on Saturday evening and got tolk it was busted. Stayed in and watched telly instead.....Then I read the party actually took-place anyway.

So what I'd like to know is who was the twatish public-school boy hippie answering the party-line informing folk it was busted?

Party wasn't busted mate - Unfortunately due to a funeral I couldnt make the whole thing myself but we relied on word of mouth to let people find out the location mainly and its a shame that you didn't make it - but, to be honest, with the attitude you seem to have I'm pretty glad you missed it!

Wicked party guys, incredible venue (probably the best I've ever seen)! Heard you had loads of problems but thanks for sticking with it and in the end it all worked out! What a rave! Great BBQ in the morning cant wait for the next one - you rock!

The only reason why we, and I hope every other promoter on this forum, put on parties is for other people to have some fun at. It saddens me when this, for some, is not the case and things go wrong, and things certainly did go wrong for us on Saturday.

However, after massive amounts of stress and money we finally got to put on a party, even if it wasn't as big or as successful as it could have been. I was so pleased it went ahead despite the problems... then I logged on here.

People like 'Goa Freak' calling my co-organizer a "twatish public-school boy hippie" have no idea what we went through to put that party on. You may be a freak and you may have gone to Goa (back-in-the-day no doubt), but who are you to have a go at us like this?

We did our best, and to the few of you who did call and we told you it was cancelled. we did have our reasons, namely that the farmer who the whole party depended on was stood there scared shitless there was going to be a 'rave' on his land and there were going to be a whole lot of fuck-ups there on his land, (and rightly so with people such as 'Psyketrix' and 'GoaFreak' hoping to attend!)

Anyway, every single person who called us on a mobile was texted precise directions back once the farmer was gone, and it seems there is only a handful of you who still didn't come and have chosen to leave arsy messages here.

I'm sorry for any inconvenience, but for the rest of you I hope you had fun, it was an awesome party and one of the best locations I have ever seen. Indigitous will be back soon and We look forward to seeing you all very soon.

Thanks,

Charlie

No problems, I posted that last reply soon after discovering the party went ahead anyway. Never knew I was talking to one of the promoters on the phone - I was angry because I thought I'd been mis-informed by someone who was either drugged-up or din't have a clue what was happening.

But there were other people who had planned Saturday around this party and were excited about attending, so perhaps you can understand my frustration having been the one who was peddling this supposedly legit news about an outdoor party.

Oh, and I called from my house phone so I guess that explains why I knever recieved a text later on. Shame, as we'd of been out there in a shot if we'd recieved that.

Anyways, sorry I reacted so strongly.
