Hello there,

I just got myself a scope pro mainly to use adern flexor...

I didnt get flexor yet but will do in the next few days.

In the mean time I am trying to figure out the rooting. I have no clue

I just managed to get the sound from my daw to the scope output...

but have no idea how to set up the environment to root scope plugins with my daw (live)

anyone here can show me how to.

I have only one the pdf for version 4.5 ( i have 4) and I can't managed to get my head around it.

cheers

yaeh first of all ask him.

second: throw away the scope manuals, waist of time

here http://forums.planetz.com/ you can get a lot of info for scope.

soon i hope to receive my scope set up and then i could send you a screenshot but ask spindrift first thats probably faster.

To connect a source to a destination you first click on the source you want to connect and then on the destination.
For running audio between the sequencer and Scope you would usually use ASIO. The ASIO modules are found under "Software IOs"
Which type of ASIO module work best might depend a bit on what sequencer you use. At least with Ableton the ASIO2-Flt works fine and whenever possible try to keep signal as float.
Right-click on a module to open channel settings to increase the number of active channels, and then patch away as you like.

What do you mean with "multi MIDI parts"?           (``·.¸(``·.¸(``·.¸¸.·`´)¸.·`´)¸.·`´)

thanks spindrift... I already spent some time understanding this so I managed those things...

although now I would need some more in depth tips if you can...

basically how do I sync flexor to the sequencer tempo wise. its got to be synced just like a vst...

I've looked at those gate ramp modules.. but i dont get the result needed ... I need it to do whole cycles... not going by the midi note...if you get me...in short what i do is not the way... so I'd like to know how you do it.

on planetz they talk about it but is confusing..

I have to say... i jsut got flexor and i love it.. why the hell did it took me so long to get it. yesterday I had fun rooting audio from my seq to flexor modules and got incredible results...

cheers buddy

hey seppa, congrats on the scope. i have a pro and a luna and flexor and love it.

once u get it going, have a look here -

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=164914

it is a huge collection of modular/flexor patches i made. there are two projects there, the original stash i posted and an additional pack of patches. i was a beta tester for flexor3 and i must say its just simply amazing.

i really love this platform, hope you enjoy it as much as i am.

take into account, that like any novelty hardware it has its quirks, bugs and things it will let you do and won't. all in all it's a great piece of kit for one who dwelvs into it.

and as people mentioned, the best place for scope info is planetz, some great folks there and lots and lots of knowledge on those forums, not just scope but music making in general.

p.s. - go spindrift

the ramp is made so when u trigger a midi note it triggers the ramp. that is that best way for syncing, as the normal modular sequencer modules will give you hell and will sorta flutter and won't sync properly. what the ramp does is it takes care of the bpm internally in the modular patch, triggering it by midi. maybe not ideal, but the best workaround, and this is why those ramps were included in the flexor release.
