This is a message to all SCOPE platform users.
Creamware has released a new version of the SCOPE software 4.5, after over 2 years of dev from the 4.0 version.
Now what sucks ass is that they are charging for the upgrade, which they haven't done before and I believe they shouldn't considering they're supposed to be patching all those nforce chipset problems.
So before I start coughing up the 100 eur, has anybody played with the 4.5 version and can say it's worth it? Are there new incompatibilities, will my old plugins work (I mostly use mod3 and flexor)?

neuromantik, are u using an nforce4 based platform? how can they fix such severe chipset problems in an update? that would be interesting! because this could affect other products too

I haven't got 4.5 and can't comment on the changes to the platform itself.
Indeed it sucks that they decided to charge for the upgrade, but on the other hand it's a bargain if you haven't already got all the packs.
So although 4.0 works great I'm tempted to upgrade just to get some synths and fx that was not included when I got my card.
If I did have all the plugs already I would on the other hand be a bit pissed off I guess.
But I'm happy they actually are doing upgrades at all on the other hand....it was looking a bit schetchy after they went bankrupt and it's really nice to see that they are continuing development.
I think the reason they do charge for this upgrade is that they decided to now include all the mix, fx and synth packs as standard for people who buy new cards, so I hope it's just this time and that it will not become a habbit.
Well.....I'm obviously a bit of a fanboy and forgive them anyway
