I'm kinda stuck, am I on to something? Feedback of all sorts are welcome. I feel that I need a push in the right direction to finish the tune.

yea u on to somethin for sure homz, i suggest u raise the bpm just by 1 or 2 more,and work on more complex percussive arrangements and some atmospheric pads at the back, rest sounds decent this small sound,

yeah you are on to something!
In my opinion dont raise the bpm! (If so do a tempo track change for the ending maybe)
Just keep going with this, i think you should focus on the shifting atmospheres and keep the baseline going, There is room for another layer of openhats to drive it more. just get your minutes down, and keep grooving... its really hard to say, but from the ending you could build it up in a cool way, I love that sample man, and its your freaking duty to finish this track! Let this great track push you and nothing else! We are all in the struggle
So if you dont have anything more important to do i suggest you pull your internet cable, pour your self a big cup of coffee or tea! And start working this out.
Maybe its so that you need to export stuff and get ideas recorded, just do it, if you have plans for automation, do them, Now. export, if it get wrong do it again... no time to sit and just listen to this, you are the captain of the ship and to get to the harbor you need to navigate right and use the skills you have...
