Hey people, did you ever wonder how some technology might look in the future...I just saw some documentary on robotics and it made me think how it would be cool to have like..a music player in your head that would be connected to your brain...or you could just store data on it...like a small hard drive or something...of course your brain would have WI Fi so the next time you want to share some "unreleased downloaded killer tracks" with someone you'd just have to get in their range...of course for those that couldn't afford WI FI there would be a cheaper brain module that would require two people to "connect" through some "peripherals"

Anyway I think it would be cool if the music you had on your brain implant would do much more than just stimulate your ears...for example it could project some visions in your eyes, give you shivers...or even give you an errection of course that would only relate to some house music
Music producers would become much more than that...they'd have to program their tracks to insert such things as well...tracks could literaly kick your ass if someone made them that way...they'd just have to input some electrical impulse that would send pain down to your buttocks or something.

Of course there would be brain modules that would offer you sms messaging, e-mails and the rest of the crap you usually have with todays mobile phones..but that's pretty boring anyway..

Now this might all seem funny but I think some of these things will really exist in the next 10-20 years...I saw some guy who had a stroke and he can't move or talk..and they put something in his brain that connects to his nerves and it sends out radio waves and he has a computer screen and he can move the mouse cursor with his thoughts..

so..I suggest you all stop using the word Killer to describe a track...coz maybe in the future some producer will program his next track to do just that

anyway, what do you think?           DJ Dovla | Interchill Records, Flow Records

who knows eh DoVLA?
my thought on this topic is that it Depends just how much you want to trance out!!
My question relating to your "mental technology" is;
(hypothetically speaking)
Is the technology there to enhance the trance experience; or to totally control the way our minds percieve music?

Coz i believ psychedelic is already working on pathways of the mind that other genres just havent reached - due to their production/style limitations - to add to it by incorporating internal/peripheral tehnology, may in some ways lessen the effect psy-trance already has on the mind and instead of it being an external force affecting internal force, it would all be internal - possibly damaging the neurotransmitters which relay our very thought patterns = dangerous territory DOVLA especially if your brain is 99.9% normal!!!

Thats hypothetically speaking, mind you...

<<(i swear this all made sense a minute ago...)>>           It is by will alone I set my mind in
motion.
It is by the juice of Sapho that thoughts
acquire speed -
The lips acquire stains -
The stains become a warning - blah, blah , blah!

it still pretty much makes sense ...to answer your question I think the only good way it could be done would be to just enhance some other sense besides hearing...nothing more...because if a track were to completly take over your mind and body and give the same experience to everyone then it wouldn't be as special as it is now...everyone has to have a unique way of percieving music for sure...

and even though there is a dose of humour here I seriously believe that some of it will happen in 10-20 years...and besides...what's wrong with just using your imagination to come up with such fun ideas...there are lots of ethics and rights and wrongs to talk about all this stuff...but that's not the fun part so we'll leave that type of discussion for a time when such things will really be available           DJ Dovla | Interchill Records, Flow Records

Im absolutley, positively with you on this DOVLA! For sure there are bound to be technological advancements made in music hardware/software in the next 20 or so years, and its the free-thinkers which will create them!
I really hope you dont take offence DOVLA because im the type of person who'll throw a spanner-into-the-works, but i mean well

As for the future, personally, i can't wait dude!
