One of my favorite tracks of all time... I was so obsessed that I heard it everyday for months on end. It would get me out of the doldrums in seconds.

If you like this track Dawn, you should check out Sabi's IDM mixes.

He's included the ulrich track too.

Cheers... but that link seems to be dead. I will try it again later.

I know exactly what you mean about that track!

I was the same with his albums. Those melodies are really haunting... it's like an addition!

If you don't have them already (or for anyone else reading)...

Far Away Trains Passing By:

...look for the special edition with the bonus CD - it's good if you can find it.

A Strangely Isolated Place:

Also, if you like melodic IDM, here are a couple more you may want to check out...

Galerie Stratique - Horizzzons (especially the track 'Train Sous la Pluie'):

Guardner - Paris Can Wait (especially the track 'Seeds'):

the beat reminded me the track happy cycling of Boards of Canada at the begining, but without the birds loops. Good lil' jungle grooves, i liked 'a million miles away', 'staub', 'open skiez and 'religion' so far from older projects
