i am planing to travel to europe this summer, would like to know a few things abt the visa application process:
1) If i get the visa for example from the Swiss embassy, is it necessary i have to travel into any swiss airport, or can i fly into another EU country?
2) If i travel by euro rail from geneva to berlin how long does it take, and is this route possiable
- swiss(geneva) - austria - czech - germany(berlin)-
i will be bac wit more question's soon  and see u guys this summer

Once you have a schengen visa you can enter europe through any EU country, so no need to pass by the country you obtained the visa from. BUT!!! MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A MULTIPLE ENTRY VISA just in case you have to pass by other airports.
Also make sure to have a fake or real hotel booking for all your stay, just in case.
regarding the rail question.. you can make this whole trip for around $400 or even less if you book ahead of time. (one way of course)
To save money you can buy a multiple pass on eurail that you can use up to 3 months. check their website.
If you choose to fly, it might sometimes be cheaper and faster check euroflights.info

oieee,,,, baba tony....
dude, taking for a guess you might be in dubai or india......... take a flight to germany... rs.25,0000............. get ur scheneigen visa.... alot of travel agents will charge you the processing and everything.... very easy to get......... once you get this visa, doesn't mean you can go all over europe, most places though...... once u reach germnay, u can choose to go by the euro rail or euro line(buses).... ideally now the question comes quality over quantity eurorail is expensive but very gooood.... but if your looking to break it down and go dirty without that much money then go euroline....... on the way through youth hostels you can find hostels as cheap as 5 euros........ ideally eastern europe could be as cheap as goa then u'll figure ur way out...........

Hey Tony, single entry is fine to travel within the schengen countries.. but you lose nothing by applying for a multiple entry.
don't worry about the visa thing, it shouldn't be a problem, they re easy going! |

As of now, having spent the past two summers in Europe, I'm heading to India....... Can't wait to have the bomby bhelpuri and chaat. Hahaa:D hahaha even the vada pav. But dude yeah man, psycrow germany is totally on......go there, and if u go down Sweden make sure you attend magical forest.... Probbly one of the best undergroung scenezzzz by talos,and regulars like jibberr jabber and derango and well quite of the sanaton. Enjoy doood.. Hahaha boM
