Monster Trolls in Hell EP
by Satanic Mutant
German label Scared Evil Records has not been around very long, but across Europe and into America, they are already turning heads and stomping with their uniquely open embrace of music's darker nature. After an eventful summer of label releases and performances at numerous events in Germany, Spain, and the States, label co-founder Satanic Mutant of Stuttgart, Germany, lets this be known in the label's latest EP release. "Monster Trolls" is a collection of Mr. Mutant's dirtiest, most malevolent sounds into a half hour session of darkpsy at its most innovative and original. Be sure not to miss these sounds as a prime example of the power this label has to offer.
Tree Monsters On Hell God
This opening track to Satanic's killer EP is an abstract playful thumper with off-kilter bassbeats with power and drive, masterfully arranged samples and mish-mashed acid glitches placed in just the right spaces to jiggle your neural atoms. This track gets you moving like a twisted marionette master and thrusts you straight into the moods of those to follow.
Kill The Troja
Mr. Mutant wastes no time with epic intros, preferring to toss you directly into the thick of his sickly stirring sounds. "Troja" is just that. Decidedly uptempo, in-your-face, and to-the-point, each measure is carefully arranged and reworked to keep your feet and your mind guessing. Expect the unexpected within this saturation of psychedelic sound.
Jupie Goblins
Further down this darkening spiral is "Jupie Goblins". Relentlessly hammering synth riffs and glitchy, repeating acid sweeps bounce you about like a punching bag of music on flesh. Erotically electric with a myriad of moods, Satanic shows just how far some clever arrangement can go, for this piece of his contains enough to listen to time and again.
HAHA hihihih
Continuing the EP's trend of speed and intensity to its close, the name of this track portrays Satanic Mutant's style keenly, that of maniacal musical pandemonium. Cacophanies of collusions and digital insinuations gets your noggin bobbing just like it did back in those caveman golden years. "HAHA" is a sinister circus ride throughdark playgrounds of the synthesized mind.
