Release Notes From Celestial Dragon:

Celestial Dragon proudly presents "Facial Memories" – the new album from Scann-Tec. A Russian composer, Vladislav Isaev delivers a fresh, colorful and captivating downtempo journey with his debut full-length release. Born in 1981, in Moscow, Vlad became interested in writing music in 1997. Unlike many other artists who are mostly influenced by other people's music, he finds inspiration in many other things. Like sounds from various places filled with people or left deserted to all but the wind playing the melody. Vlad also has previously created music with Sundial Aeon, A Hammer And Sickle, and Globus Aero, as well as written a lot of various music for TV, games, fashion shows and advertising. If you like beautiful chill-out music or love to travel into ambient sounds this album is perfect for you.

Track List:

1. Amy Returns
2. Obstacles Area
3. Marking Time
4. Hello! Human?
5. Bukaha
6. Izaura
7. Kozhara

The samples sound promising. The cover is appalling.

Am keen to hear peoples' opinions on this.

both this and Vital Signs are sold out on Juno, and on psyshop it's already the second round I think..

looks like a lot of people were expecting to grab those releases.

That is definitely an out of the ordinary cover for this genre, that's more a progressive trance thing to do. But I think it's also a way to express the title "Facial Memories" as we as humans use a large portion of our brains for facial recognition.           blip.fm/itranscendence

Many thanks to those who have supported the label and Scann-Tec by picking this up from the shops. Enjoy!

They both came in yesterday from Juno This will be a sweet musical weekend, and weather previsions are bad. Just perfect for me.
