I just wanna say that we need more cooperation between each other, here in scandinavia. I hope we will be able to get names such as Tamlin and Derango to Aarhus, Denmark... We like crazy stuff here and should have more partys with foreign dj's and acts. But....
Of course this would be best if it worked in all directions... We should strengthen the band between Finland, Sweden and Denmark!!!

Yeah the Finns are left behind lotīs of times cause of our quirky original sound.
The psychedelic scandinavia MPDQX lable groub? was a good expiriment to try to unite the menu for the listeners.
Hopefully the scandos will unite better in organizing parties and big scando festivals, more more.. |

No bad words about our Suomi brothers but damn you guys can sometimes be a bit on the weirdo side  Personally I dont like much music coming out of Finland. It's simply too weird, over layered and way too noisy  But I am all for a united Scandinavia when it come to Festivals. |

btw. Finland is nOt a part of Scandinavia..
Scandinavia = Sweden, Denmark and Norway.

True, Finland is originally not part of scandinavai, but of the nornic countries.
itīs just that the media has this mixed up, so whenever they speak of Finland they speak of a scaninavian country. Itīs not correct, but then again itīs just a word.

Yes exelent idea...
Let us all unite and make killer partys in the scandinavian nature...
I know there is alot of party people out there with good ideas for making partys... but it always end up with a money problem...
So i foud some funds in the EU for making intercultural arrangements...
So if u are thinking to make some cool scando partys, u should check these links out... the concept is that u feks. make a party feat. artists from 3 diffrent EU contrys and u get money from these funds for the project... so this way we can make the Eu pay for the Partys!
i havent read the tekst yet... seeing that theres shit loats of text to read... but if your serious about making a festival, check it out..
according to a friend of mine (whos studying this kind of funds) it should be quite easy to do the applications for this...
I hope ive inspired some people to take the oppertunity to get something good out of the EU

Excellent links Ringo.
One thing that crossed my mind was the upcoming Scandinavian Electronic Music Festival 2005 in Denmark. They had their first festival this year, and even though they had a lot of problems, I'm sure they're planning to have another one next year.
Even though I'm not really fond of the Suomi style (apart from the excellent Highpersonic Whomen, and some Haltya and Kiwa) I think diversity is part of the key to a great festival. In 3 days I don't just wanna listen to full on or progressive, I want something more (tech, psychedelic madness, suomi, you name it) - but perhaps that's just the way I feel
Anyways, espark is one of the organizers of the party, and he's regged in the forum, so perhaps you should contact him and see if he's interested
