hi,i remmeber i once saw a hacked(unofficial) driver for SB live that enables ASPI and better performance and latency for the SB ,but i cant seem to recall the name or where to get it(should be for free...)
if anyone has any idea what i'm talking about please lemme know.

Are you talking about the APS drivers for SBlive? They allow you to use ASIO and get 8 ms latency and all sorts of other things.
Run a search in google, i know you'll find it.

if u run XP/2k better use another driver..
