Hey guys, while i was configuring my PC's audio properties i ran into a problemm.
I have AMD1800 with 512Mbyte DDRam and a simple creative's onboard sound chip.
While i was trying to configure Psycle's sound properties i am all the time got clicks in sound. Anyone knows how to properly tweak the buffer settings?
Thanx in advance.           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

hmm, im not sure who ure reply is to...
but anywayz, i use an SBLive Platinum 5.1 and of course its possible to get somewhere with this card!!
granted it is far from ideal, and ya gotta tweak it abit, but it does the job.
at the moment, in logic audio (PC AV), my buffers are set to 210 ms, which is really crap latency, but i hardly ever use my hardware to trigger any soft, so it doesnt really matter.
any lower settings get the clicks and pops in audio

good luck!

I have Win2000, and i managed to scratch 10ms latency with Reason.
And it's not this clumsy on board chip it's Creative128 PCI.
Reece --- 210ms? Oh man how can you work on melodies?           Everyone in the world is doing something without me

hmm, well the midi works pretty sweet with my hardware.
i trigger my jp8000 from logic and its perfectly in sync with any audio thats running in logic.
the only delay i get is when i use the jp to trigger a softsynth, and i dont do that much anyway.
all the 'live' midi parts in logic (exs24, es1, vsti's etc.) all have rock solid timing so the high latency value doesnt really affect my work at all.
(except for a very small delay between when i hit 'play', and when the sound actually starts)
