Hi all,
so I got me my first analog synth two days ago, the Doepfer Dark Energy So far I`ve had a blast, the last two nights I spent tweaking and playing around until like 4 in the morning. As a result, I made this little track here. Everything except Kick, Percussion and Pad is made on the Dark Energy, and I did not use any effects except delay and reverb (and a tiny bit of compression on the subbass).

@minus: I was thinking about adding some type of Arp as well, but then I was travelling this weekend and I listened to the track quite a bit, and I think Ill keep it this simple. Its more "pure" this way, for lack of a better word
@DH: I cant wait for more analog noodling, hehe And yes, the fact that the LFOs go deep into the audio range is awesome. As is the fact that the Dark Energy has some patching possibilities, its just fun to stick cables into random places and see what happens. I could get used to that...
@makus: THANKS!! It made me very happy to read your comment About the delay, its the Fabfilter Timeless 2, its really awesome, its the only delay I ever use, as it allows for some cool modulations. The one here is really simple, though, its just the default setting with a bit of modulation going on with the panning

Ah, I see, I tried that plugin but didn't dig it at that point. But you got a nice sound from it!

Its a all-round mental melt with a touch of dark mystic.

Very cool and nice track,and I needed to pee because some dude or gal was saying constantly in the track "you need to pee" lol
One thing that I find a bit disturbing thought is ,well,the percussion is "dry",when there is such amount of space to be used in this track.Some delay and reverb and all that shinanigans.But thats just me ,and the rest I find is teh shit.
From all the things I lost,that sandwitch cost me most :)

really i mean it this is some nice deep dark psy chill kinda feel!

must release foor sure, but i would recommend to make at least an EP of such stuff, or better the album and release at once. compilations dont work.

About a release, right now I have 6 tracks in this kinda style that I actually like and that are possibly worth releasing that would work well together in an album or EP context. I guess the best way is to finish 4 to 6 more good tracks and present a finished album or select the best tracks for an EP.
