Saturday, October 15th
THE 3RD ANNUAL L.A. BURNING MAN
DECOMPRESSION STREET FAIRE
the Decom is taking place at the same location as the last two fabulous Decoms,
in the streets of the downtown L.A. Artists District.
From 12 Noon 'til 12 Midnight
Green Sector will be hosting a Stage where the 2 streets cross.
Here's the line up for our camp in order of appearance
Chill Out: Noon - 4pm

Trance: 4pm - Midnight

Three city blocks of Playa Pavement all to ourselves (and anyone else who might want a taste of what we're about)!
The main gate will be located in front of Little Pedro's Blue Bongo Cafe, which is at:
901 E. 1st Street
Los Angeles, CA 90012-4007

The event continues down the block from there to Santa Fe Street, then one block to the left to Banning Street as well as one long block to the right under the bridge down to 2nd Street. That's a lot of street space to participate in the ways we like to.
Like Burning Man in the desert, nothing happens unless we all come together and actively participate. So, as in years past, bring your art, theme camps, costumes, mutant vehicles, fire performance, music, personality and lightness of being in order to create the Playa on the Pavement!

Come party in the streets w all the freaks of LA! we can can shake the asphalt too! How often do we get to do that in the city huh!? cant wait to hear KJs set and all the guys and gals! see you there..................................................................................

Hey Everyone,
Here's directions to the Decompression.
Street parties only happen once a year in LA, don't miss it.
901 E. 1st Street
Los Angeles, CA 90012-4007
DON'T USE MAPQUEST or YAHOO MAPS!
ALAMEDA Exit is CLOSED.
USE BROADWAY EXIT
Take all routes to the 101 South and Exit Broadway
Continue Straight off the exit onto Aliso St.
Go past Alameda and Aliso becomes East Commerical Ave. Continue Straight.
Make a Right on Vignes. - 2 blocks and you're there.

Amazing vibe, beautiful people. Allot of ass hanging out everywhere, Very nice. I really liked the location, Kind of interesting. Allot of people were there that night and it looked like no one wanted to leave hehe. |

If you missed this party, I would highly recommend saving the date for next year. This is a not to be missed event. Even if you just like to peole watch the turn out was incredible. Thank you so much to whomever organized it. You did a fabulous job! |
