Anyone who is using Ultrabeat. The saturation, slope and asym parameters are pure gold, especially since you can apply different settings to the oscillator sweeping from high up in the frequency and leave the oscillator that gives the low boom, clean.
Its them 3 parameters on the top oscillator

I generally leave the sub sine oscillator, unprocessed as a clean sine wave sounds better.
Try low passing the whole mix from 60Hz and slowly move upwards. On my HR824s a clean sub sine sounds much better there. The desired overdrive on the kick starts becoming apparent when I go over 120Hz and give that character I am looking, yet the subs are nice and clean.
Makes a great deal of a difference on a big system.
And when I do saturate the kick, I just a hint to give it some nice harmonic component. I never go for that distorted hard house 909 kick.
Peace out.
