Here we go. I just bought a new mixer today. It feels really great cause the old one was really misfunctioning. Slides that was loose, backlash in the input channels... well tell what wasn't wrong with it.

So now to the question. What the hell is the slide button micro for? Can't figure it out. It says that it is a: "Dj level control: A slide control used to adjust the level of the DJ output signal" but when I turn on it I hardly notice any diffence. The output signal does however get slightly stifled ... but why is that good?

Anyone who can help me?

I am no DJ, just someone who wants a hub for my vinyl-players, cd-players and my computer so I'm allmost embarrassed for puting this probably easy question up as a post.

Tnx anyway.           'The best way to predict the future is to invent it.'

My mixer has a smaller cross fader you use to cross fade in the headphones, and a large cross fader that is used to cross fade the main output. Hope this helps.           http://soundcloud.com/chemical-reaction
