So, Im impressed that nobody talks about sandspider, and I see in nobody's chill sets/tops .... What's up with that? Are they not considered good or something?

I loved their work on Goa Beach Vol 2, specially the 'small town hassles' track.. Wow, amazing stuff.. Now I really want to buy their full cd sometime, I think its called music for an imaginary film (but only after gaudi and upcoming natural born chillers hehehe.. limited money)..

anybody has info on them, who are they/him/her, and any upcoming works or something?

Hi Sherlockalien,

Sandspider is Matthew Embleton & Alan McDermott. Their website is http://www.sandspider.co.uk/ , although it doesn't seem to work right for me.

They have 3 releases that I know of: First album is titled Spider, second is Killing Time, and Music for an Imaginary Film is the third, and most recent. It was released early this year I believe. In my opinion it's a wonderful album. Spider and Killing Time are also nice, but don't have as much melodical and structural depth.

I don't know about upcoming works. I would guess that if they are planning on another album, it probably wouldn't be released for at least another year.

Thanks for the comments and the introduction.

We're working on new material at the moment.

There are problems with the website, but we hope to be fixing it soon.

Thanks
