Gungfly! Those tunes were really coming out of a quagmire!!! 
After coming back from the dive inside its depths, I must say that it was quite a weird and crazy experience! Deeply atmospheric and rhythmic, filled with so many mysterious details that it lets you open-mouthed at your first listen, but it slowly unfolds the more you listen to it (a Sanaton standard, that is  ).
Purosurpo's highly experimental sequel to 'Outskirts of inside' had a remarkable ending! Traskel also amazed me, together with Loke, Makadam, Donkey Shot and Procs (telling his fairy tale outro) 
A truly mind-blowing sanatonic release! Eagerly waiting for the next one ("When will Then be Now? Soon!" maybe?  ), but till then: diver eyeglasses on again and into the Gungfly we go!  |

Lovely CD. Enjoyed almost all tracks. And Purosurpo is a masterpiece! Pandoras Box are to watch out for, loved the track. Whirkk also sweet. Goodluck guys! |

Amazing release! just had a run though yesterday and the entire trip is totally lysergic ...as Yrnol said, leaves you open mouthed (and open headed ) after the first listen
Standouts for me were the takeoff progressive sounds of Loke... a showoff track right there  perfect tempo and flow... sounds like a tutorial trip for Norwegian mind exploration.
Ygg Audio was a shocker. Some serious metal psy fusion happening there. The originality shines through the cutting edge production.
Ze favorite happened to be the closer by Procs. Melodic Jazz progressions overlaying wide spanning bass. Tracks like these are what you pull out when people can't relate to these new age sounds... really bridges the gap between the concept of a live musician and an electronic producer.
The rest holds the Sanaton standard of top notch production... just taking a bit longer for them to marinate... but it's overtly obvious at the first listen that this is one of their best sounding compilations. |
