Hi, I have a pair of Resolvs 65 and have a faulty tweeter
in one of them ... the amp gets really hot and eventually the tweeter turns off ... it may happen in 10 minutes ... it may happpen in an hour ... it may not happen for days ... still it sucks.
My friend Orange (Atropa) has a pair of rubicons and guess what ... almost same tweeter problem.
Their sound is descent enough for the price but still Samson is far from a trustworthy brand if you want my opinion.

im very happy with my samson rubicon r5a as far as sound goes but... ribbon tweeter on the left monitor is switching on/off from the 4th month of purchase!
for the sound of them im very happy u can trust them i made many mixes on them and i still do and they are a good companion to my dynas!
i hope if u get them u want have the issues me and mr panic have!

hey
i've got a pair of r5a's that i got like 5 months ago
and they seem to be working fine....no problems like atropa and panic described and i hope that doesnt happen.
i think they sound awesome for their price for sure... and i got mine for a lot cheaper cause they were ex display  soo i really hope they dont die soon (touchwood).

Ive got Samson Resolv65a and i never had any problem with them - and i hope there won't any
Heard and read mostly good about the Rubicon.
Do u think it is a good idea to get them as second pair of speakers?
