Damn i just spent two hours reading through all the old threads on monitors on this forum and i'm still at a loss!

Lots of people recommended the Tannoy's but then lots of people also said they're lacking in bass..Guess i'll wait a couple of months and buy dynaudio's..

Speaking of yamaha's i came across these new one's anyone heard em yet?

http://www.audiogear.com/Phonic-audio-amplifiers.html

I got the max 250 amp for use with the Dynaudio passives. I got friend price from Prahlad who works in store, he said amp is fine... i beleived him. My mixes have improved alot in just a few weeks mixing with them compared to two years mixing with m-audio BX8's. Havent been able to compare to other amps, but am overall satisfied, and i know a few other producers that have opted to trade in their Adams actives for the dynaudio passives... not sure which amp... damn i sound like i work for dynaudio... bottom line, am satisfied with price/performace ratio... there are alot of other options out there...

Advice: Goto music shop with CD's and try out the monitors there, take your time and if in doubt ask a friend with experience...           Cytopia.org
