of coures you can spent years for your ultimate superduper pad  but still you can do a great one in minutes with some expirience.
Even if you automate all your possible routings..
It is really not that hard.
I dont get it,either you know what you can all do with your vsti and your sequencer or you must learn it all.Oh and yes synthesis.Atleast to understand what make filters and what adsr and lfo ..and the rest .Ok?
Ten leagues below that what prodigy make with a few samples.And this - reallyl is only one nice example and nothing more.
And yes I agree Cosmosis has great tutorials.
