maybe you have to route the track to a mono bus before the bounce in place

kontakt is much better or battery I'd like more..but have only the standard logic sampler on mac which kinda sucks a bit to build all this sampler insruments - much more time to invest.

when using exs24, can't you just set the osc to retrigger bounce-in-place a sequence of all your notes and the select "convert to sampler instrument"?

Probably.. I did something with convert to sampler instrument some time ago, from audio files or even from a beat and sliced to zones and than used convert to sampler instrument or sth like that and had than snare bassdrum etc on its own.
But long ago.. I don't know well about this option. Seems a good idea though..
Now I created a 3 octave ESM sample Instrument for exs24, I tweaked ESM to my liking before I bounced the notes and imported it to exs24, made there a new sampler instrument and each note became a zone.
Works nice, and after tweaking it again with Exs24 parameters it can come again nicely different. Only problem with my result is I'm not liking the loudness of my notes, when comparing to factory sampler instruments mine is quiter.. not loud enough. I think I normalize each note to a bit higher volume.           https://soundcloud.com/shivagarden

I dont get why u resample. Why not just use the piano roll from whatever synth u r using...ES-1,ES-2,ESM...why do you want to resample the bassline into EXS24 - am i missing something cuz i also use Logic.           www.soundcloud.com/kabbalisticvillage

it's because the sound is not each time the same, when you use a synthesizer without the oscilator retrigger function.
The phase is free running and you get not exactly the same transient each time on each note. On higher tempos and espesically in psytrance it sounds not really tight when the trance bassline is not stable not the same one time you feel the complete punch the next time not the same power or maybe somehow wack etc.
always open for corrections from somebody if it's not a good explanaition.
