Are you using a lot of samples from movies,tv shows,etc.???How many of you CLEAR the samples???(I hope they won't delete this topic) |

why would somebody delete the topic? unless it's a question that's been asked 20 times....
if I have a speech I will have to put it through an eq, a noise gate, some kind of effect to keep the noise less noticable.

Yes, I can't watch a movie at home without recording its sound, and also got my tv connected to sound card, so I'm recording stuff all the time 
Yes, and of course samples need quite some work to clean, I normally use eq, and sometimes some fx as Trip said |

Do you mean, "How many people seek permission from the copyright holder to use the samples in their own music"?
If so, I would guess not very many people.
Ok, none.
If you are going to sell a LOT of records though, it is probably a good idea to make sure you have prior permission to use any samples, otherwise you run the risk of legal nastiness. |

So, CLEAR samples, u meant "clean" samples, or you we're talking about copyrights?
If its the second one...I think Colin Answered to that....
None....
But some labels don't like it...I had some friends that had to change some samples in their tunes because of that... |
