samples weird problem

ok,i got some samples from Elab,and also some others from LOOPMASTERS and POWERFX.very good quality samples(most of them are from computer music magazine)but when i am importing a kick or a hat or anything that is a single hit,ti sounds twice,like there is an -one-hit-delay or something.i can see in the waveform that it is a single hit.i also tried to cut the sampl,to fade out,to turn the volume down but still i have two sounds from the single sample.any ideas?loads of good samples that i cant use ;(
i hope i made some sense

Yeah, up a sample.
Do they have any icons on the event? Might be problem with hitpoints.
Try playing with direct monitoring in Device Setup or try an alternative soundcard driver.
Same with all samples or just the loops from Elab/Loopmasters/Powerfx?
If all else fails you could use a sampler to play them. |

here is a sample.i imported a hat and a percussion.but i have 4 hits.it is only happening with the particular samples.
direct monitoring is always on,and i also tried with asio multimedia driver and still the same.
i can use a sampler(though i prefer having my main percussions stright in a chanel) but still,it is a weird problem and as john nash said in:a beautiful mind:
"thats what i do.i solve problems"
now unfortunately i am not john nash,so the problem remains

hmmmmmm
weird yeah
maybe this specific samples have some sort of "looping mode" which make it to slightly strech it and match bpm? this happens alot in fruity but very easy to fix just close the time strech to 0.. dunno about Q tho..
only thing comes to my mind now..

Almost every sample "problem" when loading is the "Musical Mode". Sometimes when u load sample, Cubase makes it "strechted to the tempo". To uncheck this feature, open the sample window, and look for a "Note Button", at top right of the window. Just turn it off.
Althought your samples do not sounds stretched, u could take a look at Musical Mode button.

Must be cause the file has some infos. Maybe loop points, bpm...
Just for the info: for fast checking if the file is with Musical Tempo on just look the sample at sequencer. If it has the musical note icon at the end of the sample, it´s cause MM is activated.

yap,i noticed the note symbol and also another one like this <--> next to the note and i made a picscreen but while i was uploading the pic you came and save the day
