What (or how) do you feel when you´re watching a movie and hear a sample from a psytrance track you like?
I feel like if for a moment I´m hearing to the music, like I´m on a party and this sample is being played. Great feeling.
Just yesterday I was watching the movie "Strange Days" and sundenly the sample: "Have you ever Jacked in?" and than "Have you ever wire tripped?" from Logic Bomb´s Kilobyte Bandit. I scream "look at this sample!" Everybody looked at me... Latter, the samples from Xenomorph´s Killer State just made me crazy again...
Same thing had already happened when I saw Requiem For a Dream and Fight Club (Do not fuck with us!).
I think this kind of good surprise happens when you know (and like) a track and then watch the movie from where the samples were taken.
So, share your experiences...

i loved watching fear and loathing in las vegas and listening to those mescaline samples (ether was wearing off... the acid was long gone...), psysex samples (they gave you what? lsd...), and soo many more...

Fight Club as got at least 2 more... It's my favourite movie.
Right now i can only remember when norton is on the phone (Are you still there? - Skazi)
I remember from pulp fiction, also lots of samples were taken from it. (bring out the gimp - GMS) |
