movies and games for fx, u can use the refills and presets instead of samples from synths (although i think u should build yer own sounds), cuz sampled synth aren't really handy. For drums, look to old funk albums, and instrumental jazz (especially the ones in which they improvise, great samples in there)
to slice them up u have tons of options nowadays... |

I agree with you FREGLE, I had a Korg Prophecy Akai sample cd and I used and loved so much this sample cd that I bought a real Korg Prophecy in order to make my own sounds.
Prophecy is my love for while.
